Velo City Takeovers
This is how it started: ‘VELO have bought up a bunch of OOH space in cities across the UK - from Cardiff to Birmingham - and it’s your job to make that a story that resonates on social… somehow.’
And so we did: behold a series of Instagram assets with beautiful CGI and a simple message: you can VELO anytime, anywhere. All of these consumption moments are represented by the geopins, showing brand truth in urban settings.
VELO also brought the Pub Games to these cities: low-fi activations that needed the social treatment to make them feel relevant. So I produced scripts for presenter-led reels that felt authentic and human, leaning into their unique voice - and scenarios for Vox Pop content that gave VELO fans their own voice on the channels.
The result was an integrated social strategy that won us thousands of new fans.
