Coutts - Meet the Team

Coutts is an iconic brand built on high-stakes human connections. To bridge the gap between their heritage reputation and a social-native audience, I was tasked with giving the firm a relatable, human face.

I conducted deep-dive interviews with the Coutts team to find the "human heart" behind the high-net-worth jargon. My goal was to move away from the static "corporate headshot" feel and create dynamic, witty, and warm scripts that reflected the real personalities within the bank.

Navigating the internal sensitivities of a heritage financial institution is a masterclass in compromise. While the original wit and conversational nuance of the scripts were eventually traded for the safety of corporate precision through a rigorous approval process, the final films remain a testament to meticulous production and planning.

Despite the inevitable gravity of the sector’s tone of voice, we succeeded in ensuring the final output felt authentic, premium, and - most importantly - approachable. It’s a suite of work that proves even in the most regulated categories, human storytelling remains the most valuable asset.
